Selective Materials Sourcing
Airelight™ Luminaires are comprised of aluminum and ceramic and free of fossil based materials. The light emitting ceramic surface of all Airelight™ Luminaires also acts as the diffuser, and the heat sink. This intentional avoidance of plastics allows Airelight™ Luminaires to offer the desired amount of light without contributing harmful gasses to the environment. By contrast, a typical competitor’s light source uses acrylic, or other plastics, for the diffuser resulting in a substantial amount of outgassing of plastics.
Minimalist Design
By sheer design, Airelight™ Luminaires utilize 50x less raw materials than conventional light sources (when fixture weight is measured in a typical installation). This fundamentally distinguishing design means that not only energy efficiency is attained, but efficiency of natural resources as well.
Recyclable
The very same attributes that ensure Airelight™ Luminaires have no intrinsic outgassing at all, also make the light source 100% recyclable at life’s end.
