Goldeneye® offers a warranty on its LED drivers and integrated control devices (“Product(s)”), ensuring they are free from material and workmanship defects for a period of three (3) or five (5) years, depending on the specific product and the terms of the warranty. This period begins from the date of shipment from Goldeneye® facilities. A product is considered defective if 15% or more of the individual LEDs fail to function or if the painted finish shows significant deterioration, such as peeling, cracking, or blistering. However, natural chalking or fading over time due to aging is not covered.
This warranty is valid only if the Product(s) are installed in environments where the ambient temperature does not exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius) and are used within the electrical parameters specified on the LED driver label. Goldeneye® is not liable for failures caused by external factors such as physical damage, natural disasters, exposure to hazardous chemicals, the use of abrasive cleaning agents, fire, environmental conditions, vandalism, improper installation, power issues, or unauthorized modifications. Additionally, Goldeneye® will not be responsible for significant deterioration of the Product finish due to insufficient maintenance, cleaning, or inspection.
If Product(s) are installed on existing foundations, anchorages, or structures, the end-user is responsible for ensuring their structural integrity. Adequate records of operating history, maintenance, and testing must be kept by the end-user to substantiate any warranty claims. The warranty does not cover yellowing of polycarbonate or acrylic materials as these may naturally occur due to aging.
The warranty also excludes costs incurred from modifications required to accommodate site conditions, faulty construction, or design. It does not cover issues arising from the installation of third-party components, failures caused by such components, or failures of Goldeneye® products due to third-party components. This warranty is only applicable to products sold for commercial purposes and does not cover consumer products, which have separate warranty terms.
If a product fails to meet the warranty terms, Goldeneye®, at its discretion, will repair or replace the product with an equivalent or functionally similar product or component. The warranty does not cover labor or equipment costs associated with removing or reinstalling parts. It applies exclusively to the original end-user at the original location and is non-transferable. Repair or replacement under the warranty does not extend the original warranty period.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect or failure and directed to an authorized Goldeneye® post-sales or customer service representative. Goldeneye® may require the product to be returned for inspection, but only with a “return authorization number” obtained from an authorized representative. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to Goldeneye®, while Goldeneye® covers the cost of shipping replacement products.
THE WARRANTY TERMS ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND REPLACE ANY OTHER WARRANTIES. GOLDENEYE® DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES RELATED TO THE PRODUCT(S), INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY/FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE. NO AGENT, DISTRIBUTOR, OR SUPPLIER IS AUTHORIZED TO MODIFY THIS WARRANTY WITHOUT WRITTEN CONSENT FROM GOLDENEYE®.
Goldeneye®’s total liability for any claims, whether arising from contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, will not exceed the purchase price of the product that gave rise to the claim. All liability will terminate upon the expiration of the specified warranty period.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GOLDENEYE® BE LIABLE FOR ANY PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES, EVEN IF WARNED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES ARISING FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. GOLDENEYE® WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LABOR OR EQUIPMENT COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVING OR REINSTALLING PARTS, LOSS OF TIME, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, LOSS OF PRODUCTIVITY, INTEREST CHARGES, COST OF CAPITAL, SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES, DOWNTIME COSTS, DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT, OR ANY INCONVENIENCE ARISING FROM A BREACH OF WARRANTY OR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THAT WARRANTY.
